I am looking to speak with a competent Geo-Environmental Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist from a consultancy or a site investigation contractor with the drive to develop their consultancy / interpretive reporting attributes on a range of development schemes.
My client is a well-established consultancy that specialise in Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering with a nationwide presence. You will have the chance to sit within a well-established Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical team helping to deliver complex contaminated land / remediation projects from phase 1 through to overseeing the remedial strategy and validating the site.
As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, the role will enhance you throughout all phases of the projects including, desk studies & walkovers, ground investigations, land quality assessments, interpretive reports, risk assessments, remediation strategy design and validation.
To proceed as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, it will be expected that you have the following:
1st degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/geoenvironmental engineering or related geo-science.
Experience within the UK completing phase 1 & 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples, site monitoring.
Ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis.
