Construction Integration Engineer

What youll be doing

Ensuring our contractors are delivering the required assets to the time, quality, and cost.

Involved during the design, construction, commissioning, and defects rectification period of the project: Ensuring buildability, efficient and effective delivery whilst safeguarding our site, compliance, and process, regulatory and statutory requirements while maximizing benefits to Thames Water.

Overseeing all construction and commissioning activities on your projects from conception to completion monitoring compliance with our asset standards, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and with wider regulations.

You will be reviewing contractor performance and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and ensuring the seamless integration of assets into operations. Following these projects delivered will be followed up with aftercare to ensure assets delivered are as per original requirements and the defect process is being followed.

Were looking for you to:

• HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or significant experience in a similar role
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or SMSTS
• Knowledge and understanding of processes used in Water / Wastewater / Networks as appropriate or similar adaptable skills in the utility industry.
• Understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of delivery Forms of Contract
• Strong written and verbal communication and influencing
• Technical Knowledge and ability to assimilate new information
