Location: BristolSalary : £30 000 - £40 000 depending on experience

This is a great opportunity for an experienced civil engineer to join an established and respected Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy. Our client carries out work throughout the UK providing expert advice to variety of clients including: Commercial Developers, Retailers, Contractors, Private Equity Funds, Health Trusts, Housing Associations, Schools, Science Sector and National Trust.

The Civil Engineer we're looking for will have experience in:

• Ground Modelling / Earthworks Design to include geotechnical and environmental appraisal
• Residential Estate Roads, Commercial / Industrial Access and External Areas
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Flood Risk Assessments
• Hydraulic Modelling
• Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems
• Foul and Storm Water Drainage
• Section 278 / 38 Highway Design
• Managing budgets and projects resources
• Liaising with clients and other professionals working on the project

Personal skills for the perfect candidate include:

• design skills and knowledge of relevant software
• ability to effectively communicate and work with the team, while also being confident to work with minimal supervision
• project management skills - working to deadlines, within a budget and with different types of clients.
• Creative problem-solving
• Complete knowledge of relevant legislation
