My client is an established engineering and surveying consultancy. They have a broad client base ranging from small residential projects to vast commercial developments. They are passionate about their work and their team and provide consistent recognition and support to all of their employees.

Position

To assess, plan and undertake Phase I reporting and aspects of Phase II/geotechnical site investigations for commercial and residential projects.

Key Skills
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Geotechnics or Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialism and preferably have a minimum of 1 year's experience in the industry
  • Be working towards, or interested in working towards chartership as either an Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be capable of presenting ideas and working collaboratively within the team and with clients
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Have an understanding of producing ground investigative factual and interpretive reports following analysis of laboratory results
  • Have a full driving licence and own transport
  • Be a proactive self starter
  • Be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
