Water Hygiene Engineer / PlumberLocation: BirminghamSalary: £23,000 - £30,000Hours of Work: Full-time (Monday-Friday)Overview:Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber on behalf of our client. Main responsibilities will include:
- Remedial plumbing work (dead leg removal, changing flexible hoses, legionella control etc)
- Performing TMV servicing, temperature checks
- Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks
- Completing internal calorifier inspections
- Compiling reports and documents
- Reviewing the company's client data in regards to water hygiene compliance
- Assessing current systems regarding water hygiene compliance against legislation changes and the company's client requirements
- Attending meetings and site visits
- Developing new and sustaining existing relationships with the company's clients
- Liaising with different departments across the company to ensure the organisation's client's needs are delivered and met
- Managing escalation matters prior to Director level involvement
- Monitoring and assisting with changes or developments within the industry and organisation whilst ensuring that the company's clients needs are met
- City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing (minimum)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Unvented qualifications would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight when required
- Ability to maintain and develop working relationships with the organisation's clients, work colleagues and other stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of the Water Hygiene industry
- Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office
- The ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Ability to work within a team and also work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Full UK drivers licence
- Company car/ van & fuel card
