We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Structural Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and major names in multi-disciplinary engineering services.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable technical and project delivery experience involving new build analysis, detailed design, bridge inspection, assessment and rehabilitation schemes and will join the team in their Gloucester office on a full time permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of bridge and bridge-related structural scheme designs at all design stages,
Supervising the production of design drawings or other project related design deliverables,
You will be responsible for resolving technical issues as they occur and for the monitoring of progress of your areas of responsibility,
Organising and carrying out General, Principal, and Special Bridge Inspections. Requirements:

A degree-qualified Civil/Structural Engineer,
Knowledge of the DMRB and Eurocodes in the field of structural design,
Experience of using a structural engineering software,
Experience of bridge design, analysis, assessment, and inspection,
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
Good IT skills, Computer literate with previous experience of using a structural engineering software
