What you'll be doingLeading their Engineering in Thames, the role will be part of the team that creates the intelligent client Thames Water needs to be able to achieve its AMP7 ambitions and beyond. Focusing on the Engineering disciplines the role will provide the expertise needed to:
- Get the right technical requirements from the Project Definition Briefs and maximize value to understand all risks and their mitigation
- Input and continuously improve Technical Asset Standards
- Provide Design sign-off between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as the Delivery Stream dictates
- Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning, and handover of Assets
- Drive the advancement of their engineering discipline
- Ensure and deliver the Engineering Regulatory compliance on relevant Assets
- A recognised leader in their Engineering Disciple including Process and Analytical instrumentation and possibly electronic security systems likely with not less than 10 years' experience including a least 5 in the water industry
- Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve Compliance with our Engineering regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills both internally and externally
- Collaborate and ability to influence senior colleagues
- Budget management experience
- Degree level or equivalent, likely in their Engineering Discipline and with professional chartership
- A passion for continuous professional development and an active approach to driving diversity within Engineering in the Thames
