One of our key clients are currently seeking fresh talent to join their award-winning team. They are a comprehensive water treatment specialist, established in 1985, having a strong focus on sustainable practices that are not only compliant, but make economic, environmental and social sense without exhausting or destroying our natural resources.

This is a mobile role so you must have a full UK driving licence to be considered but travel is regionalized and full training can be given for the right person. This is an exciting and rewarding vacancy suited for a skilled water hygiene professional that has a passion for their work and also the environment. Once all the duties below have been mastered there is also an opportunity to start training in Legionella Risk Assessing and further develop your career.

Key Duties of a Water Hygiene Engineer:

Calorifier inspections & LTHW testing
Monitoring for the spread of Legionella
Installation and servicing of TMVs
Cold water storage tank cleans and chemical disinfections.
De scaling and disinfection of shower headsExperience and Requirements of a Water Hygiene Engineer:

You must have a full UK driving license
You must have at least 1 years' experience in a similar role
You will benefit from a level 2 plumbing qualification
Good knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 is essential
You will need a great work ethic and be physically fit
A confined spaces certificate will be advantageousCandidates must be flexible with working hours as you will be expected to work 1.5 weeks of nights every 2 months, overtime is paid at the standard rate but evac system overtime is paid at 1.5x. As previously mentioned travel is largely regionalised and training and development is offered to all of their employees looking to develop industry skills further and gain recognized qualifications.
