Are you an experienced Senior Structural Engineer looking for an opportunity to be an Associate Director of a rapidly expanding business?
My client has an extensive range of engineering services, including multi-million-pound projects and their project's range from domestic to multi-million-pound projects, including prestigious multi-storey buildings.
As an Associate Director, you will be working with a team consisting of Chartered Civil/Structural Engineers, Senior Engineers through to Graduates and BIM Technicians. They have a large client base with much of their work coming from repeat business.
The role of the Senior Structural Engineer (Associate Director): -
* Demonstrate a high calibre of technical quality
* Meet the technical demands of civil and structural engineering projects
* Conduct visits to site to conduct site surveys
* Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers
* Deliver within an agreed budget, following our Management and Quality process
* Take responsibility for producing, checking and approving engineering reports and designs
* Knowledge in building structures including load bearing masonry and multi-storey framed structures
* Awareness of British Standards/Eurocodes
* Willing to use computer analysis of structures and design of structural elements in most common materials i.e., steel, concrete, composite, masonry, and timber
* Good verbal and written communication skills with experience of report writing
* Self-motivation and be capable of supporting/working within an existing team
* Commitment to health and safety, CDM and CPD requirements
The Senior Structural Engineer (Associate Director) will have: -
* Degree level minimum, ideally a master's degree
* You will be a Chartered Engineer or approaching C.Eng.
* Proficient in design software, like Tekla Tedds, Tekla Building Designer and AutoCAD
* You will have 10 years post-graduate experience.

* A generous base salary between £57,000 - £65,000.
