We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Engineering Consultancy who are looking for Structural Design Engineers of all levels to join their regional Scottish team based in Stirling and/or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business which focuses on providing a good working environment for their staff allowing them to retain a team of happy, well-motivated Engineers and Technicians. Whilst part of a larger engineering business they maintain a local focus and ‘feel'. They offer a stable, secure pipeline of work, not dependent on the peaks and troughs of the local market.

This is a business that entrusts its regional leaders with the autonomy to decide their own local strategy, creating a culture where staff are empowered to make decisions and tailor their service to suit the needs of their clients. They are a business who believe in work life balance, their default setting is to trust their staff and in return their employees show a greater deal of commitment to the cause. They do expect accountability but allow for flexibility in working arrangements to ensure staff can maintain a happy home life balance.

You will be assisting in:

Conducting advanced and complex engineering and related studies, evaluating alternatives, making recommendations and presenting reports to the project manager, or the client
Preparation of designs, specifications, plans, estimates and reports for projects
Analysing configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure
Preparing complex drawings for engineering projects

What will you need?

Degree qualified in Structural/Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills
Motivation and determination to succeed in your career
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload

If you have the required experience and this sounds like a team you would like to be part of then apply by submitting your CV
