The City of Rancho Cordova is a technological leader in the Greater Sacramento Region and is looking for an energetic and results-driven engineer to manage programs including Traffic Engineering and Traffic Operations. Knowledge of Development Services, Infrastructure Finance and Municipal Engineering is also highly desired.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Position requires possession of a current valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California, a current valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as determined by the City.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience that will provide the ability to perform the work and provide the performance results as stated in the job description. A typical way of obtaining the education and experience would be:

  •   EDUCATION: Equivalent to completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
  •   EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience comparable to that of an Associate Civil Engineer at the City of Rancho Cordova including some supervisory experience.   A Masters Degree in civil engineering may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
