Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (Energy) - Portsmouth (Hybrid) - 6 Month Contract Initially - £37.35 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Defence organisations based in Portsmouth. 3 days on site, 2 working from home. Travel around the UK may be required monthly.

This role will be working with the Energy Team, external suppliers, other colleagues in manufacturing.

Experience required:-

• Requires knowledge gained through professional qualification and including substantial work experience. HNC/ HND level qualification and working towards EngTech/IEng level.
• Have knowledge in Energy systems and products. Requires understanding of either Mechanical/Electrical engineering discipline for projects and programs.
• Good understanding of Engineering integration: across projects, products and strategy.
• Good understanding of Thermodynamics preferably with experience of modelling and analysis.
