Civil Engineer

A leading Engineering consultancy with offices throughout the UK and globally are looking to appoint an ambitious Civil Engineer to their excellent team. This firm have won some brilliant projects and are boasting a great portfolio of varied work for a Civil Engineer to be a part of.

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

The Role

• Using Civil3D and MicroDrainage for the design of roads and drainage within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors to name a few.
• Regularly dealing with local authorities and other regulatory bodies such as Scottish Water and SEPA.
• Obtaining RCC approval.
• Managing a small team and delegating the workload to maximise efficiency.
• Occasional site visit to conducts surveys or inspections.
• Regularly liaise with other project stakeholders.

The Requirements

• At least a HND in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Working knowledge of civil 3D and micro-drainage.
• Comfortable with producing design for road and drainage schemes for various types of projects.
