Structural Engineer

One of Scotland's most well established and well renowned Consulting Engineering firms are looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to assist in delivering their varied and impressive workload. With some excellent projects within the Built environment this is a really interesting time to be joining the business as they grow in numbers, stature and financially.

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000

The Role

• Design a variety of steel, concrete, and timber structures within the built environment.
• Be the clients point of contact throughout the projects life cycle.
• Manage a small team of more junior engineers and technicians and delegate the workload to ensure the smooth running of projects.

The Requirements

• At least a bachelors degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Significant design experience within the building structure environment. A varied background to support the varied work would be beneficial.
• Working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and staff management.
