Civil Project Engineer

Civil Project Engineer - required to join a leading Engineering consultancy in Leicester. The Civil Engineer will be working within the Civils department working on a range of projects including Highways, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for commercial, industrial and housing developments.

The Project Civil Engineer will be degree qualified within a Civil or Structural Engineering discipline. The Project Civil Engineer will also have 2 years' experience preparing design calculations and drawings for both below ground foul and surface water, drainage systems as well experience in intrusive ground investigations and flood risk investigation. The Project Civil Engineer will have an in-depth knowledge of SuDS and flood risk assessments as well as knowledge of AutoCad and MicroDrainage software package.

Civil Project Engineer Position Overview

• Prepare design calculations and drawings for both foul and surface water drainage systems
• Supervise the Engineering Concept Drawings and construction drawings
• Liaise with clients
• Site and Client visits
• Write reports and prepare contract documentation
• Health and Safety and Risk management
• Liaise with local authority planning departments

Civil Project Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree within Structural or Civil Engineering discipline
• 2 years PGE within Civil Engineering design
• Construction Design and Management Regulations for construction works
• Proficient in AutoCAD and some knowledge of MicroDraiange and Civils 3D
• Knowledge of SUDs and FRAs would be advantageous
• Knowledge of MicroDrainage
• Experienced in the design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems

• Salary up to - £40K dependant on experience
