This is a temporary position with no paid benefits.

NDDOT Pay: $18.00 / hour

All internships are paid full-time summer positions.

Available Immediately: Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.  Applicants will be considered immediately upon submitting application materials.  The position may be filled prior to the listed closing date after successful completion of the application and interview process.

Survey Crew leaves Bismarck on Monday and returns Thursday.

Summary of Work

Assist the preliminary field survey crew with data collection.  Some of the duties include; GPS operation, recover recorded monuments and appropriate documentation needed for boundary surveys, set aerial panels, utility surveys, topographic surveys, and alignment surveys. The Preliminary survey crew leaves Bismarck on Monday and returns on Thursday.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or civil/construction engineering undergraduate degree program.
  • Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
  • Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.

Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
