Civil Engineer

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a Civil & Structural Engineering company, in their search for a new Civil Engineer to join their team based near the Wirral.

What our client is offering the successful Civil Engineer:

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays

Remote/Hybrid working

Core hours are 10am - 4pm

Permanent Role

The Role - Civil Engineer

Working on multiple projects varying from residential developments (multiple houses), apartment blocks with associated civils works, retaining walls, industrial units and commercial yards, renovation projects

Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil3D or PDS Causeway or similar.

Producing computer drainage models using MicroDrainage or PDS Causeway Flow or Autodesk Civil3D, design calculations and BIM models.

Extracting drawings from the model and preparing 3D models appropriate for the design stage.

Preparing technical supporting data such as specifications and reports

Works will include below ground foul and storm water drainage, earthworks modelling, retaining walls, roads, and other hardstanding pavements

Assist with the preparation of drainage strategies and flood risk assessments for local authority approval

What we are looking for in a Civil Engineer:

Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.

Working toward chartership (Not a critical requirement).

Proven experience of engineering design, modelling and preparing engineering drawings for all aspects of site civils associated with a range of civil engineering projects

Experience in appropriate engineering design software as mentioned above such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D or PDS Causeway, Microdrainage or PDS Causeway Flow.

Must have a desire to learn and grow.

Be good at planning, organising and prioritising personal workload skills.

Ability to interact well with other team members and able to act on own initiative.

Be familiar with applications for public works such as S278/38 agreements
