Job Details
This position provides overall project management direction from inception to completion of highway improvement projects; utilizes project management processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope; engages public agencies and the public to obtain input and develop informed consent; provides overall direction and leadership to technical project teams; and develops projects to be consistent with MnDOT strategy, commitments, and goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Engineer Senior:
- Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID).
Engineer 2 Graduate:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or its equivalency as rated by NCEES/EAC. A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Two years post-graduation civil engineering work.
OR
- A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or it’s equivalency as rated by NCEES/EAC AND A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam One (1) year of post-graduate civil engineering work.
OR
- Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam.
Required at both the Engineer Senior and Engineer 2 Graduate Level:
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools. Knowledge of project schedule development. Valid Class D Driver’s License.
