Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer - Required to join our client who are a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their Oxfordshire office. The Structural Engineer would be working on a variety of Residential and Commercial Development projects. The opportunity to take on a varied workload and be involved in all aspects of projects from scheme design, through to construction on site.

The Structural Engineer will be undertaking site visits throughout the UK in relation to extension and refurbishment projects for national clients, as well as working on new-build schemes. The ideal Structural Engineer will have 2+ years' experience within a UK Consultancy and be working towards chartership with excellent knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes as well as steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer which includes a crucial part of this role involve client liaison and supporting other team members in attending design and site meetings, this opportunity will support a candidate to Chartership with the ICE or ISTructE

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

Degree within Structural Engineering
2+ years' experience within a UK Consultancy
Experience with software -TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
Ability to design to British Standards or Eurocode
Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential
