Senior Civil Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior/Associate Civil Design Engineer in Gateshead.

Working hours:

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer you'll be required to work Monday to Friday

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, your role will involve:

The application and principles of Sustainable Drainage (SuDS)

Running / Supporting a team of Engineers

Going to market to win new clients/business

Preparation of designs for the development of infrastructure

Producing layout drawings and details using AutoCAD to company standards

Detailed design of Section 104 / 185 / 98 drainage works for approval and adoption

The preparation of site-specific Flood Risk Assessments / Drainage Appraisals

Consultation with external clients, consultants and approving authorities

Providing engineering judgment and advice, contributing to the preparation of study reports.

To be considered for the Senior Civil Design Engineer role you must have:

You will have achieved a minimum 2:1 degree classification in Civil Engineering

5+ year's experience in the appropriate sector

You will be eligible to live and work in the UK and be prepared to travel locally and across the UK from time to time

Full valid UK driving license
