Opportunity to join the pioneering modular housing division of one of the UK's largest companies which has the vision and financial backing to revolutionise the construction industry and tackle the UK's housing crisis.

They are achieving quality levels not seen before in scale housebuilding at an affordable price driven by efficiencies in supply chain, scale, quality control and reduced construction times. They carry out end-to-end developments with diverse in-house design, construction, and manufacturing teams.

The position will focus on producing feasibility designs for new modular housing sites in Civil 3D. Other activities include assisting in pricing, value engineering consultants' designs, attending design meetings, and giving feedback to the internal architecture team on urban and architectural designs.

The forward-thinking engineering team embraces new ways of working and technical approaches such as being at the forefront of digital design. Sustainability underpins everything with all homes EPC A rated and including the latest renewable technologies.

This is an excellent time to join the development team as one of the first civil engineers in a team set to grow rapidly to deliver on a fast-growing pipeline of over 1,000 homes due to expand to 3,000+ annually. There will be opportunity to progress to more senior design or development engineering positions.

Requirements:

* Road and infrastructure design experience for residential projects essential

* Experience in s278, s38, s104, s185, s106 agreements

* A broad understanding of civil and structural aspects of residential projects

* Passionate about designing high quality developments

* Collaborative team player who embraces change
