Civil Structural Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to work with a market-leading design and engineering consultancy. This position offers a skilled Civil Engineer with structural experience the opportunity to be a part of a range of exciting projects and will be a great chance for someone who wants to take support leadership on Ancillary Civil elements of the C2 and C3 sections of HS2.

Responsibilities

Helping to manage and develop technical aspects of HS2 Ancillary Civils, including:

Box Culverts
Pipe Culverts
Retaining Walls
Access Routes/Stairs
Footways/Ditch Crossings
UTXs
Fences
Noise Barriers (limited to application of standard details).
Work alongside team leadershipQualifications & Experience:

Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent.
Have previous relevant experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects similar to the type of work in the Ancillary Civils portfolio as listed above.This is an excellent opportunity to work on integral elements of such a colossal projects such as HS2.
