The Role:

Our client is looking to hire a Graduate Structural Engineer into their London office - this is their expanding office which offers excellent opportunities for career development with the growth of the business. This is a career position within a dynamic and skilled team, and progression is assured for the right candidate.

The candidates will be working alongside an experienced team of engineers who will help them to develop understanding and competence. The projects they will be involved in will be involved in will be varied and diverse ranging from surveys, to reports to calculations for all types of developments.

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare of structural engineering designs and drawings, specifications andreports
Liaise and communicate with the Structures design team, other disciplines, and external clients.
Deliver work to agreed timeframes and specification.
Check structural calculations and drawings.
Brief and supervise Technicians on the production of drawings.
Liaise & communicate with external professionals.Essential Skills & Requirements:

Candidates must hold a degree in an appropriate 'built environment' discipline.
Be working towards (or have a desire to work towards) membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers
Ability to design basic structural members in structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber is desirable.
Basic use of Microsoft Office and other administration software.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
