Chartered Structural Engineer (Senior / Principal / Associate level)
Manchester City Centre
£55,000 - £70,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
An independent Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their office of 20 staff working across Residential, Commercial and Retail-based projects across the UK up to £120m in value.
The company have had an excellent 2022 and are looking to expand by adding a Senior figure to the Structural team of 12 who ideally has Chartership with the IStructE under their belt (ICE will also be considered too). The right person will be in charge of leading their own schemes and helping to guide more junior members of team and general running of projects and the team.
The right Chartered Structural Engineer will:
Have a degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related field
Have at least 10+ years' experience working in a consultancy environment (ideally as a Structural Engineer)
Have experience leading projects and also guiding more junior engineers
Hold Chartership (IStructE/ICE)
Be open to help supervise an oversee an office in the heart of Manchester City Centre near to Deansgate and Oxford Road train stations
This vacancy is considered a strategic hire for the business and the right candidate can therefore expect a salary of £60,000 and above as well as 26 days annual holiday and employer contributory pension.
