Our client a leading Building and Civil engineering company are current looking for a Site Engineer to join their team based in Derbyshire. They provide building and Civil engineering services to the private and public sectors across the UK. They specialise in educational, residential and industrial markets. They are currently working on some exciting project, the Site Engineer will be working on a major water infrastructure framework.
The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site. The Site Engineer will also be providing the interpretation and clear communication of construction drawings on site they will also be reporting to the Contracts Manager and will play a key role within the team.
It is desirable for the Site Engineer to have a degree in a construction related discipline as well as 5 years + experience in the industry. This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a team with great progression opportunities.
Site Engineer Position Overview
Setting out projects
Provide the interpretation and clear communication of construction drawings.
Report to the Contracts Manager
Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure H&S aspects are kept to on site
Maintain IMS requirements
Undertake any other duties as allocated
Site Engineer Position Requirements
Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering
5 years experience in similar role.
Experience within the water or utilities sector would essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Show initiative and accountability for a project from start to finish

Salary up to £45k
