Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead/Associate Structural Engineers to be engaged on a permanent basis, in Runcorn.

Our Client provides our clients with complete design and consultancy services developing innovative solutions from concept design through to detailed design - the ideal fit would be a candidate who is ambitious and keen to have genuine influence, helping to shape the growth of the clients future in the Northwest.

The successful candidate will: • Enjoy the challenge of engineering design and delivery of a range of civil and / or structural projects from concept to detailed design. • Be able to take ownership of project delivery regarding: ▪ Client liaison & Key Account Management ▪ Technical management ▪ Risk management • Lead tenders and bid in collaboration with Associates and Directors. • Have direct influence on the growth of our office in line with existing culture and core values; Integrity, Collaboration, Creativity and Sustainability. • Enjoy working collaboratively to problem-solve and create innovative engineering solutions. • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

We're looking for a candidate with the following experience and qualifications: • You will be BEng, MEng or MSc qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. • You will be a chartered (CEng) Civil or Structural Engineer with a proven track record of delivering projects within a multi-disciplinary environment. • You will have a minimum of 15 years' experience. • Provide technical leadership within your area of civil / structural expertise. • You will demonstrate you have built and maintained client relationships through management of client expectations and by being proactively responsive. • You will be experienced in the financial and commercial management of projects and third-party sub-contractor/consultants. • You will be experienced in design risk management and mitigation
