We are working with a real innovator in engineered timber projects, taking on some unique designs and turning them into beautiful reality. They are keen to find people with a similar vision and commitment to producing high quality designs through their team of talented Designers and Engineers.

In this Structural Engineer role, you will be a key player in the Design Team, working on the structural elements of the projects involved at all stages. You will be working closely with Fabrication, Install and Project Management team as well as client design teams.

Do you have:

Degree (BEng and/or MEng in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
Proven knowledge and experience in timber and steel connection design
Familiarity with Eurocode 5 and the UK annex
Ability to carry out structural calculations and analysis modelling
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations & fire safety
Good experience post-graduation in working on structural engineering projects, with a significant proportion in timber structures
If you are able to demonstrate some familiarity in one or more of the following software packages: Rhino, Grasshopper, Karamba, Dlubal, RFEM, CadWork, Revit this would be of particular interest.

As Structural Engineer for this great company, you can expect:

Salary (depending on experience) £30-42,000 (may be flexible to attract the right experience)
22 days' holiday + Bank Holidays, increasing with service up to a maximum of 26 days + Bank Holidays
Flexible working - you can work from home or hybrid but there will be regular meetings (around once a month) in the Bristol office
