Vertical Recruitment have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy with an experienced structures team. Their projects include large complex schemes with contract values over £200 million to smaller local client focussed tasks. They work with both in the UK and internationally with interesting clients including F1 Teams, motor manufacturers, Schools/Universities, Contractors, and Developers.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a wide range of services.

Role and Responsibilities
* Production of Structural Engineering work packages relating to medium to large development projects from initial concept through to completion
* Production of calculations packages for Building Control submission
* Undertake survey inspections and produce written reports in good English on findings, set out in a logical manner with appropriate recommendations
* Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
* Represent the company at external meetings with clients, contractors, and fellow professionals
* Be responsible for delivering work to a fee and to timescales agreed
* Prepare client / project proposals
Experience and Skills Required:
* Be a graduate with a good degree in structural engineering
* Member of Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers
* Some design office experience
* A good understanding of regulatory requirements
* Proficiency in use of design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Staad or Revit
