Role: Geotechnical Engineer
Salary: £25000-£35000
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Geotechnical engineer needed to lead a diverse range of small to large scale site investigations for an Contractor based in Newcastle. You will have the chance to work on a mixture of schemes including, residential, commercial, rail, MOD, highways and industrial.
Responsibilities: Managing intrusive site investigations, including leading fieldworks including Health & Safety issues, managing sub-contractors, and undertaking sampling and laboratory scheduling.
Requirements for a Geotechnical Engineer
You will have a first degree or equivalent in geology or equivalent
Must have at least 2 years' experience in the organization and supervision of a variety of size and types of site investigations
A good knowledge of health and safety requirements
