Graduate Structural Engineer
Our client based in the Great Dunmow area are looking for an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer to join their busy metal fabrication business on a permanent basis.
Graduate Structural Engineer - The Role
You will be responsible for need to manage, plan, and manage structural design projects while ensuring that structures are compliant, economic, and safe.
Graduate Structural Engineer - Duties
• Undertake structural inspections and commission specialist surveys
• Prepare feasibility reports
• Compose engineering drawings using CAD packages and sketches for drafting
• Assess the environment impact and the risks connected to design decisions
• Responsible for progress during each phase of a project
• Confirm supplier's ability to deliver information requirements
• Attending client meetings as required
• Providing technical support to the company's pre contract team as required
• Ability to work directly with clients and colleagues to ensure that projects are completed to schedule
Graduate Structural Engineer - Skills Required
• Suitably qualified in Engineering
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in a similar industry would be viewed favourably
• Experience with the complete Microsoft Office suite of products
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
Graduate Structural Engineer - What's on Offer?
• 40 hour week
• 07:30 to 16:00 - 30 minute unpaid lunch break
