Geotechnical Site Engineer - Milton Keynes
We are working with a busy, well established, SME Site Investigation Company who are looking for a talented Geotechnical Site Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes.
This role would suit an engineer who enjoys being busy and has the ability to deal with and communicate with people on all levels.
**Our client is happy to review applicants with no industry experience who have a relevant degree and full driving licence.**
This position is a mixture of site (80%) and office (20%):
Working on sites nationwide.
Night and weekend shifts as and when required.
Project supervision.
Onsite project management / post field work report writing (Factual).
The successful applicant:
A degree in Geology, a related earth science or Geotechnical Engineering.
Be able to lead and manage site investigations.
Skilled in soil & rock logging.
Be able to use HOLEBASE.
CSCS (essential) and PTS certification (desirable - training can be provided).
Have excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Flexible attitude to work, be motivated & willingness to learn essential.
Must be able to pass industry-related drugs & alcohol tests on a daily basis.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home.
Full clean driving licence.
On Offer:
£22,000 - £24,000
Overtime when available
