Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways / Civil Engineering

This is an opportuntiy to join a globally recognised leader and Tier 1 UK civil engineering contractor as they embark on a major scheme to improve the highways infrastsructure throughout the Northamptonshire area.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar leadership role within the civil engineering sector.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:

* Leading / mentoring the team
* Managing key Supply Chain Partners accounts
* Preparation of cost/value information
* Accurate forecast for management accounts
* Monthly review of accounts
* Financial assessments through to final agreement
* SCP sub-contract orders & assisting with procurement
* Collate commercial data for management of internal/external KPI's
* Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

* Exceeding budgeted returns
* Aged Debt, WIP & DSO's
* SCP & Customer Feedback
* Payment to SCP in accordance with the Subcontract agreement
* Prompt payment from client including timely application, certification, and invoicing.
* Proactive team member who has a positive impact on the wider team
* Positive feedback from Senior Manager and from other Managers.
* Achieving personal & business targets set at annual appraisal
