Job Description
Job Purpose

* This role is to support the M&E contract by providing a technical support and efficient administrative function to aid in facilitating a customer-focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* To act as a Senior Authorised Person in regard to Water compliance on all matters, working alongside the water hygiene team.
* To act as a Senior Authorised Person in regard to Gas compliance on all matters, working alongside the water hygiene team.
* To project manage the current and proposed projects of replacing both water mains both internally and external in a number of the circa 100 multi-occupied buildings on an 80-hectare site.
* To review the Gas usage strategy on the site with a view to managing the change to a more sustainable future including the various gas boiler district heating systems.
* To review proposals and specifications to ensure that all work undertaken complies with current legislation.
* Arranging access to buildings for all job tickets by liaising with the building managers or stakeholders to ensure dates and times are suitable for maintenance or project work.
* To ensure that RAMS for both contractors and subcontractors are suitable and complete the UKAEA approval forms, where required.
* To attend preplanning meetings with building users such as co-ordination meetings to present a 4-week look ahead plans and schedules as appropriate.
* To raise RFW's, WAF's and Work Control Packs as required for the locations in advance and to ensure access has been signed off.
* To liaise with the relevant term and sub-contractors to ensure stakeholder communication.
* To escalate any issues to the relevant CPM.
* To raise, manage and audit all work on the UKAEA CMMS (Mainsaver) to ensure that subsequent reports can be managed.
* Liaise and interact with other members of the team to ensure that deconfliction can be achieved in regard to Reactive, Remedial, planned and project works.
* Presenting project details and technical information to colleagues and clients.
* Writing reports.
* Managing project budgets.
* Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
* Writing and advertising tender documents and managing contracts.
* Provide holiday/sick cover as needed to ensure business contingency.
* Completing mandatory UKAEA training as required.

Working Relationships
Internal
* Interface with onsite teams, designers, buyers, estimators, Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Department, Finance, Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Department, Quality Assurance (QA) and People Department.

External
* Interface with UKAEA Helpdesk, Management Team, suppliers and sub-contractors

Person Specification

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:
Essential
* WRAS qualification.
* Commercial Gas Safe qualification.
* Understanding of key deliverables of a PPM Programme Experience in use of applications such as Word and Excel.
* Ability work on own initiative and to prioritise workload.
* Customer Awareness - responsive to the needs of the customer and aims to deliver customer satisfaction.
* Adaptable and responsive and open to changing circumstance.
