Job Purpose The Quantity Surveyor will provide effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated, whilst always working collaboratively with clients and team members.
The successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal skills necessary to proactively engage Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and supply chain.
Key Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Pre-Contract Works
• Review of tender allowances and preparation of internal budgets
• Production of cost to complete forecast (site budget).
• Preparation of take-offs (from relevant SMM) & Bills of Quantity from construction drawings
• Post Contract Works
• Carry out site measures, prepare supporting information for submitting interim valuations and agreement of final accounts.
• Notify and value all change on your contracts and maintain a change control register.
• Have an awareness of the contract programme and be able to identify and value impacts caused by delay
