Senior Structural Engineer - Oxford - circa £40,000 - £50,000 & Package

My client is a multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy delivering industry leading engineering for almost 50 years.

With an incredible range of sector involvement spanning across residential, commercial, health care, industrial, sport & leisure and retail, your new company are often involved with projects often exceeding £300m in project value and have created a future and recession proof brand around this.

Your office is based in Oxford and has a modern and open-plan office space encouraging an exciting and collaborative approach. Your new role Your new role will see you joining the Structural Engineering design team as a Senior Structural Engineer.

You will be delivering high quality designs, drawings and reports using engineering materials including concrete, steel, masonry, timber. Applying Eurocodes, British Standards, current Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations and other design codes/information as appropriate is crucial to the design you'll be involved with. Managing, encouraging, supporting and motivating junior Engineers and Technicians in the process of project design is an important aspect of your role as well as representing your company in design meetings.

You will play a key role in the future development and expansion of a multidisciplinary environment. To succeed you will need to be a Senior (or near Senior) Structural Engineer and ideally a Chartered Member of the ICE or IStructE, although this isn't essential.

You will hold a Degree in Structural Engineering or Civils with vast structural experience. The software's that you will need to be familiar with are AutoCAD, Tekla and ideally an understanding of Revit. A strong understanding of the engineering principles involved, and an ability to communicate these ideas to clients and team members will be needed to succeed.

You will receive a highly competitive salary package, with a basic salary in the range of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on your previous experience. There is also a discretionary annual bonus, up to 7% of your annual salary and an outstanding 7% contributory pension scheme.

Agile working with three days in the office, and two from home is company policy and encourage a modern working environment.
