Company Office Director, Structural Engineering Consultancy in Kent

Your new role
An accomplished leader you will fit seamlessly into the company and share their passion for engineering and delivering excellence. The group has a strong vision, values and culture, underpinned by compassion for their people and passion and creativity in their design. There is a clear plan for growing the business, which requires a new Director to strengthen the leadership team and help deliver the strategic plan. You will be a great designer with technical expertise in all building structures with some specialist areas of knowledge. It is key that you are able to embrace the company values while having the opportunity to bring in new ideas and strategies to help deliver the growth plan. This will be aided by your network of contacts, whether clients or architects, in order to win work and enhance the reputation of the company in the industry.
The main focus of the role will be: Work winning, profile raising and CRM Creating business strategies and proposing implementation methods for core sectors /services aligned to the role.
Overseeing strategic initiatives to deliver conclusive outcomes.
Communicating with the Managing Director via leadership meetings and reporting Running and overseeing projects as a Director.
Conducting Associate personal development reviews, including performance management when needed Ensuring Associates have the resources they need.
Responsibility for the operational aspect by supporting the implementation and adherence of new systems and processes internally.
(Cmap, project processes, timesheets, P&L tracking etc).
You will possess a strong ethos and a clear vision, ultimately assisting in your transition into the management team as well as being well connected and have great commercial awareness.

Fully Chartered with the IStructE
Have a client base to help expand the business
Have leadership qualities, a track record with winning new business
Precious experience at Director or Associate Director position within a company
