The Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

- View damaged railway vehicles and assess scopes of work for incident repair

- Undertake assessments of rail vehicles

-Ensure design changes and repairs comply with appropriate standards

- Perform FEA analysis on 3D models produced by other parties

- Perform hand calculation and structural justifications for repairs and design deviations

The requirements for the Structural engineer Engineer job are:

- Be from a rail, oil &gas, marine, aerospace or buses background

- Experience with 3D models and drawing for FEA analysis

You must have the willingness to learn common engineering programs and learn the responsibilities of an engineer within the job. This job role offers sponsorship for the right candidates.
