Principal Civil Engineer

Innotech Partners are looking for a seasoned, well-experienced Civil Engineer with ambition to take on the role of a Principal Engineer with a national, multidisciplinary design consultancy business, at a senior level. With an opportunity to work on a wide variety of project within sectors such as; commercial, retail, residential and leisure with the addition of high-rise and other prestigious landmarks.

The right candidate will be willing to contribute toward the growth of the business and have experience managing a team of Engineers/Technicians as well as having control over their own work-load.

The main duties of the role consist of:

- Detailed drawing and calculations for highway and drainage to building control.

- Pre-purchase and resolution planning

- Flood risk assessment

- Prep of 3D ground modelling

- Liaise with clients and external agencies. - Enviro, Local Authorities, Water, etc.

- Representing our client at exhibitions as well as any other public dealings.

- Support and Training for team members.

Requirements for the role:

- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, whilst possessing suitable previous experience within an equivalent Civil Engineering Consultancy, working to UK standards.

- Previous experience with minimum senior or 5 years post qualified Civil Engineer

Technical Skills:

• Working experience of FRAs, Suds and Pre-Planning Advice.
• Working experience of drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278 and S104 agreements.
• Working experience of MicroDrainage WinDES
• Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk, Civil 3D preferred.
• Working appreciation of highway and general structures.
• Use of Microsoft Office software packages i.e., Excel, Word, etc
