Penguin Recruitment are assisting a leading, multinational, Engineering and Environmental Consultancy in their search for a Geotechnical Engineer in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will join a close-knit, expert and highly skilled multidisciplinary team and will be involved in a broad variety of geotechnical projects. Working within a small team will allow the perfect opportunity for career growth.
Our client is looking for candidates with a suitable number of years' experience in the industry and a degree in a relevant field (Geology, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering etc). Applicants are required to have a full UK driving license and be willing to work on site 50% of the time.
The main duties of the role include:
Factual and Interpretive report writing
Phase 1 desk studies
Phase 2 ground investigations
Working on ground investigation projects from start to finish
Managing and collecting site data
Soil and rock logging
Liaising with Clients / Engineers / Main Contractors throughout the site works phase.
