The Role:
This is without doubt a "once in a career" permanent job opportunity working for one of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations.
Your role will be diverse but focus on improving the energy efficiencies across this busy manufacturing site; leading projects to replace inefficient M & E systems with state of art technologies geared to be environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
As the specialist engineer on site, your primary focus will be to manage site energy consumption and deliver energy efficiency, sustainability and inefficient plant replacement projects across the M & E building services, facilities management systems and manufacturing systems.
Key areas for your attention will be;
> Identifying energy intensive/inefficient plant and operations.
> Research available and emerging technologies, evaluation, technical trial, implementation and confirmation of effect.
> Devising and leading carbon reduction heating (HVAC) system improvements across the site
> Renewable energy generation and energy storage systems to work in line with site requirements.

Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a hands on proactive engineer with a strong background in building services, HVAC, facilities management systems and / or M & E maintenance who has experience looking at energy efficiencies in a similar way to that explained above.
Living in the West Midlands, you will have excellent site maintenance experience and ideally have worked at a manufacturing site in a previous or current capacity.
