Civil Engineering Site Manager

Civil Engineering Site Manager required for a contractor working on a newbuild site in Manchester. The role will be to work with the underground side of the site - managing the assets service diversions, liaison with local council and water/gas providers, getting all permits to dig procured, ensuring that any areas worked on are safe from a water/gas/power point of view.

The Civil Engineering Site Manager job will involve:

Site Management of the civils element of this building contract

Working closely with the building team to ensure correct permits/service diversions and similar

Liaison with council/gas suppliers/electrical suppliers/water suppliers regarding underground services

Ensuring work is completed to high standard

The Civil Engineering Site Manager ideal candidate will have:

Strong civils and highways background - particularly underground works

Experience supervising and running own schemes

Abilty to own the services and underground works, to take responsibility for this on the project

SMSTS & CSCS card

Own transport to get to site

A good attitude to work and willingness to work
