Company

Our Major Civil Engineering client believes that people are the key to a successful business and that recruiting the right people and supporting and developing them through their career is essential.

The business unit consists of ‘small' maintenance projects both reactive and planned around the rail network. They are responsible for the maintenance and repair of rail assets in a long term framework / contract agreement with works typically ranging in type, scale and value.

Projects

This is a role that you will have lots to sink your teeth into, the projects ranging from £5k up to £2m. will mainly consist of repair and maintenance to bridges, tunnels, structures, stations, embankments, flood and weather damage, signage, de-vegetation, fencing, handrails etc.

About you

The right person for this role would be a ‘force to be reckoned with' who is confident and comfortable leading and developing a commercial team, as well as driving the commercial delivery of the projects, not just your typical Senior Quantity Surveyor.
