Skilled careers are working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of £200m and an excellent reputation delivering across the commercial, data centre and healthcare sectors for leading Main Contractors who require an mechanical engineer to join their team. Based on a project office in Solihull west midlands you will work closely with their bid and pre-construction team acting as a link between external design consultants and the project teams.
The company in question are open to people coming from a design consultancy or contracting background, people from a design background or a project engineer with pre construction experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate will ideal have 5-7 years experience in the industry and report directly to a design director working closely with pre-construction and site teams.
Duties:
Bid analyses
Review and management of design and scope of works
Issuing tech subs and RFI's Programming and sequencing of electrical package
Assisting in commercial control of associate works Project reporting
Attending meeting as required relating to design, progress and client specifications.
Desired Experience Degree or HNC/D in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
Sign of to pay a good salary or day rate and the opportunity to join a leading contractor with a strong and stable order book and a clear and achievable promotion path on offer.
