Our client is a privately owned regional Civil Engineering Contractor with over 30 years of successful trading. The company work within a variety of sectors including highways, infrastructure, RC structures, water and environmental. They are presently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join and lead the project delivery team. Projects will include a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure contracts, varying from £100k - £2m in value.

Duties include;

* Reporting into the company directors

* Health & Safety

* Managing a team of Site Managers and Foreman

* Meeting with clients

* Assisting with tenders and PQQ's

* Design Management

* Helping to grow the business

* Working closely with Commercial Teams to ensure project is managed to both program and budget

Due to the complexity of projects that the company on, we are keen to receive applications from candidates who are familiar with working on Civil Engineering and Infrastructure for a Main Contractor. It may be that you are currently working as a Contracts Manager or perhaps you are a Project Manager who is seeking to take the next step in your career. Either way, you will have an excellent technical ability in civil engineering and be a strong manager of people, possessing the ability to get the most out of your team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to move into a senior managerial role within a successful Main Contractor that has an excellent reputation for project delivery within a safe working environment
