Senior Geotechnical Engineer

HSB Technical - offering a Senior Geotechnical role, which will be working with a very well established international engineering business,

This will be supporting their Land and near coastal, and critical infrastructure projects across the UK, and potentially overseas!

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer your responsibilities will include (but limited to):

General Site Supervision and complex Geotechnical investigations, working on Land / Near coastal construction and geotechnical projects

Preparation for various laboratory testing of various geotechnical samples

Detailed reporting in findings, and working closely with Lab Technicians, and Project Management team for processing

Various geotechnical engineering activities - including pile design, capacity calculations, and analysis - also creation of 3D ground models

Assistance, and leading Toolbox talks / training

Person Requirements:

BSc / MSc Degree in Geotechnical or Geological engineering

Currently or previously working on similar projects - either in the UK, or internationally

An excellent communicator, and open to working with multi-disciplinary teams

Someone working towards charter ship, or currently chartered Engineer status

Strong ability to understand plans, and interpret and present complex geotechnical data

Full UK driving licence

You must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered
