Due to increased workload my client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work and support the Civil and Structural design team -You will take a leading role in the development and delivery.
Key Requirements
* Developed experience and expertise within Structures/Civil engineering, probably gained in a Designer/Engineer role or equivalent
* Comprehensive knowledge of design processes and procedures relevant to the civil engineering discipline
* An ability to produce or oversee the production of technically sound Highways engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements
* Experience in undertaking project related tasks associated with health, safety and welfare, e.g. Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
* Experience in the application of technical governance procedures within a consulting engineering environment
* You are happy to agree a programme of actions towards successful achievement of industry recognised qualifications, ie Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with a relevant body
* Good commercial awareness and knowledge of budgets and programmes
* Minimum level 4 qualification in an appropriate subject - ideally Bachelor or Master degree
