Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Due to increased workload my client is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work closely with the highways design team.
Key Requirements
* BSc, BEng, MEng or MSc in a geotechnical/geological science (or Civil Engineering + Geotechnics)
* Chartered Engineer (CEng, CGeol or equivalent) or working towards chartership
* Computer literate and thoroughly conversant with MS office suite and geotechnical design software
* Previous experience in rail and/or highways design and construction
* Good experience of the co-ordination of the design process and team management
* Good experience of planning, supervising and designing, applying standards and a technical knowledge of projects
* Well-rounded geotechnical design experience including earthworks, shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, slope stability assessment
* Good communication skills dealing with clients, project partners, supply chain, elected representatives and the public
* Client focused approach to service delivery
* Knowledge and experience of the commercial aspects of projects
* Full and valid driving licence
