Remote Energy Efficiency Engineer

Job Purpose:

Our client's purpose is Making Energy Simple, and that's where you come in as an Energy Efficiency Engineer
Your role will be a key member of the engineering delivery team providing dedicated solutions for key clients, both new and long-standing.
By working on compliance schemes, you will help our customers to meet their carbon and compliance objectives, including Climate Change Agreements (CCAs), Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), Green House Gas (GHG) reporting and Net Zero target development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project manage CCAs with long-standing customers while maintaining and developing these customer relationships.
Completing Net Zero Carbon Reporting for new and existing customers using various reporting systems and standards.
Assisting customers in progressing their carbon reporting, developing their Scope 3 emissions, and producing net zero targets and road maps to net zero.
Completing SECR reporting for a wide variety of customers from the commercial, manufacturing, and service sectors.
Essential:

Educated to a degree level in an engineering or scientific discipline (STEM)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience working within the energy industry
Experience carrying out energy audits in both commercial and industrial properties
Experience in managing and delivering various energy initiatives
Strong knowledge of carbon schemes, including mandatory GHG reporting, CCA, SECR, ESOS, and Net Zero targeting and road mapping
