Senior / Principal Civil Engineer
First People Solutions is currently working with one of the leading multidisciplinary Consulting Engineers in the Edinburgh area, who are looking for ambitious Senior & Principal level Civil Engineers to join their growing team. Our client is involved in several exciting projects and is looking for an experienced Engineer to lead and manage their projects in Rail, Energy and Civil Infrastructure.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with extensive Project management, Client management, and Civil Structural design experience. This is a Lead Engineer role in the company and there is an opportunity to progress to Associate level.
Your experience, background and approach to work will include:
Degree in Civil Engineering
Chartered (CEng) status preferred
6-10 years of post-graduate experience and proven history of working within a multidisciplinary environment
Knowledge of investigation, assessment, and design of a range of civil and engineering structures across the UK
Good knowledge of relevant policy and design standards
Excellent communicator and can maintain relationships with clients & stakeholders
Can mentor graduate engineers
