Civil Engineer

We are now recruiting for 2 Senior Civil Engineers, to work on various LNG FEED projects for our client, a global oil & gas engineering company on a 12 month contract basis. These roles have an immediate start date, and will be office based 5 days per week with our client in Surrey, although hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.

Job Specification:

As a Senior Civil Engineer, the successful candidates will be supporting the lead related preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned:
o Design basis, material and construction specifications
o Ability to independently perform engineering studies and produce recommendation reports
o Familiarity with American and Euro norm design codes and standards
o Coordinate, direct and review analysis/calculations, typically
- Structures - buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, earth retaining structures
- Foundations - shallow, piled as appropriate
- Civil infrastructure - site preparation earthworks, roads
o Preparing material take-offs
The work will involve liaising with other disciplines, client and 3rd party contractors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.

Candidates should be degree level qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 10-15 years civil engineering experience within the oil & gas sector.

Job Details:

Start date: ASAP

Location: 5 days per week office based in Surrey, 2 days per week remote working may be possibe.

Rate: £55-57 p/h Ltd Co - role expected to fall outside of IR35 but is subject to a pre-contract determination assessment.
